Tiffany Haddish Received So Much Hatred Online That She Began Investigating Her Trolls and Calling Them on the Phone: I Find Their ‘Credit Report, Police Records’

Tiffany Haddish recently shared with the Los Angeles Times that she takes it upon herself to investigate the trolls who spam her social media accounts with hateful comments. The popular “Girls Trip” actress revealed that online bullying has become increasingly negative in the past year, with commenters resorting to name-calling and even death threats. In fact, the severity of the threats led her to hire a digital forensics analyst. The analyst’s findings were shocking, as they discovered that a staggering 75% of these threats were actually generated by robots originating from Malaysia and Iran.

Tiffany Haddish, despite her successful comedy career, has faced controversy and divided opinions due to her legal troubles. In 2022, she was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, and later faced a second DUI charge in November. However, this charge was eventually dismissed. Additionally, Haddish found herself embroiled in a lawsuit in 2022, where she was accused of grooming a fellow comedian. Haddish vehemently denied these allegations, and shortly after, the accuser requested to have the case dismissed. Unfortunately, the online backlash against Haddish had already erupted, leading to a flood of bullying comments in her social media section.

Tiffany Haddish revealed to the Los Angeles Times that she devised a clever strategy to confront the online hate she was facing. She decided to take matters into her own hands by creating a fake Instagram account, adopting the alter ego “Sarah.” Her goal was to gather personal information about the trolls and ultimately dismantle their online presence.

“I have acquired the skills to locate people’s information, such as pulling up credit reports and police records, all for just $1.99,” Haddish revealed. “There are times when I get so frustrated that I even go as far as obtaining their phone numbers and giving them a call.”

“Oh, honey, I’ve definitely reached out to people,” Haddish continued. “And let me tell you, they’re always shocked. They’ll be like, ‘I can’t believe you saw that.’ But hello, you made a whole video! A full five minutes of content! Some people think they can just say whatever they want on the internet and get away with it. I try my best to stay quiet, but hey, I’m only human.”

Tiffany Haddish made an appearance last year in Disney’s “Haunted Mansion” and will soon be seen in Sony’s “Bad Boys: Ride or Die,” the highly anticipated fourth installment of the action franchise starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. The film is set to hit theaters on June 7 and is expected to be one of the biggest hits of the summer movie season.
