During a press conference on Wednesday, authorities reported that an adult male is said to have stabbed multiple victims in the Rockford, Illinois area. The incident tragically resulted in four individuals losing their lives, with one person in critical condition and four others in stable condition.
Four individuals, including a postal worker, have tragically lost their lives, as confirmed by Rockford Police. Information regarding the identities of the other victims is currently unavailable.
The Rockford police have reported that the suspect is currently in custody. However, the motive behind the incident remains unknown at this time.
The authorities reported that the attacks occurred in the vicinity of Holmes Street, Cleveland Avenue, and Eggleston Road before 1:15 p.m., local time. It was described as a “multi-jurisdictional crime scene.”
