Matthew Perry’s death is being investigated by the US Postal Service

The death of Matthew Perry has prompted multiple federal agencies to take action. TMZ has learned that the DEA is now receiving support from the U.S. Postal Inspection Service as they work together to identify the individual responsible for providing the actor with the ketamine that ultimately caused his death.

According to sources in law enforcement, the USPS’ federal investigatory authorities are now taking part in the investigation. They are specifically looking into whether Matthew obtained any drugs through the mail. The postal inspectors are providing their expertise in this matter, utilizing their skills in tracking packages and other tools related to mail-related investigations.

TMZ was the first to report that the local police and the DEA have been conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding MP’s death. This investigation has been ongoing for several months. The initial toxicology report revealed that the actor’s cause of death was due to the acute effects of ketamine.

The report highlighted that Matthew had been receiving ketamine infusion therapy for his mental health problems for over a week before he passed away. However, the medical examiner concluded that the ketamine found in his system at the time of his death did not originate from the treatment. This raises the concern of whether he obtained it from a non-medical source.

According to several close friends in Hollywood, Matthew was in a positive state before his tragic death. Many of them believe that he was sober and had intentions of establishing a foundation to support individuals struggling with addiction.
