The authorities have successfully located the missing Barrow County mother and her newborn in DeKalb County, bringing an end to the search.
Kanijah Nakia Manuel, 24, and her newborn son were last seen on May 1 at around 8:30 a.m. Her son was in a baby carrier.
Late Friday morning, the police announced that they had located the mother and child, who had been missing for two days. Thankfully, both of them were found safe.
We are currently investigating their activities in DeKalb County and the reason behind the lack of communication with them.
