Two individuals are currently receiving medical treatment in the hospital following injuries sustained during an unsuccessful robbery.
According to the Atlanta police, they were alerted to gunshots in the vicinity of Howell Mill Road near Hattie B’s Hot Chicken just before 4 a.m. on Sunday.

The authorities have yet to identify the victims.
As per the investigation, the two men stumbled upon a disturbing sight as they headed towards their vehicle – someone had broken into it.
While fleeing the scene, the other individual suffered a broken leg amidst the exchange of gunfire, according to authorities.
No arrests have been made yet.
Authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the shooting incident.
