Nikki Glaser responds to Tom Brady expressing remorse over roast jokes and their impact on his children: ‘I find it hard to believe he didn’t think about the potential consequences’

During a recent interview on “Today With Hoda & Jenna,” Nikki Glaser expressed her thoughts on Tom Brady’s decision to participate in a Netflix live comedy event where he was roasted. Glaser noted that Brady may not have considered the potential backlash from his family and how it would affect them. Brady himself admitted on “The Pivot Podcast” that he probably wouldn’t do another roast due to the impact the jokes had on his children. Glaser, who was recognized as one of the top comedians to roast Brady during the event, shared her perspective on the matter.

“I believe Tom Brady is the type of person who thoroughly researches and understands what he’s getting involved in,” Glaser pondered, engaging in a debate with herself about Brady’s level of awareness.

Comedian Nikki Glaser believes that it is hard to believe that Tom Brady didn’t anticipate the intensity of the roast jokes aimed at him. She points out that there is footage available for him to watch and gauge the level of intensity. However, Glaser also considers the possibility that Brady, who has had a successful career and a devoted fan base, may not have experienced people saying negative things about him for the past three decades, and therefore may not have anticipated the severity of the jokes.

Comedian Glaser, like many others, took the opportunity to roast Brady for his divorce from Gisele Bรผndchen. It was widely known that Bรผndchen had started a relationship with her jiu-jitsu instructor after the end of her marriage.

During the roast, Glaser jokingly mentioned Tom Brady’s impressive achievements, including being a five-time Super Bowl MVP, having the most career wins and touchdowns. Glaser also humorously referred to Brady’s seven rings, joking that he now has eight since Gisele gave hers back. Glaser teased Brady for suggesting that Gisele should try jiu-jitsu, remarking that it was a foolish idea.

Brady did not mention the specific jokes that upset his children during his interview on “The Pivot Podcast.” However, it is believed by many viewers that the jokes in question were those that targeted his relationship with Bรผndchen. The NFL legend has three children, a son with Bridget Moynahan and a son and daughter with Bรผndchen.

“I found it enjoyable when the jokes were directed at me. They were quite amusing. However, I did not appreciate how they impacted my children,” Brady revealed during the podcast. “It’s the most challenging aspect when you realize that something you did, which you thought was harmless, actually had a negative effect on the people I cherish the most in this world.”

Brady expressed that going through challenging experiences as a parent can actually make you a better one. He acknowledged that sometimes parents are naive and unaware of certain things, but going through tough times can help them grow and improve. Brady also emphasized the importance of finding joy and laughter in life, as it can help balance out the more difficult moments. He believes that if we can’t find humor in things, we’ll only end up feeling overwhelmed and upset.

During her appearance on “The Howard Stern Show,” Glaser disclosed in a post-roast interview that she had prepared some roast jokes for Brady which were ultimately omitted from her set. Among these jokes was a reference to Brady’s rumored plastic surgery.
