Fox News Guest Suggests Donald Trump Could Sue Letitia James

According to a Fox News contributor, New York Attorney General Letitia James may face a lawsuit from former President Donald Trump for allegedly violating his civil rights.

Political commentator Deroy Murdock, a frequent guest on the conservative news channel, recently commented on the decision by a New York appeals court to postpone the collection of Trump’s $454 million civil fraud penalty. The court ruled that instead of paying the penalty within 10 days, Trump should post a bond of $175 million while he appeals the court’s decision.

In February, Judge Arthur Engoron made a ruling that exposed Trump’s years of filing fraudulent financial statements. These statements were designed to inflate the value of his properties and assets, allowing him to secure more favorable terms from lenders. As a result of this ruling, Trump was granted a financial guarantee payment delay on Monday. This delay prevented James’ office from initiating the process of seizing his properties.

Murdock reiterated his previous suggestions, mentioned in an article for The American Spectator, that Trump should take legal action against James for her remarks made in 2018 during her campaign for New York state attorney general. James had expressed her intention to challenge the Trump administration, referring to it as “too male, too pale, too stale.”

During an interview with Fox News on Tuesday, Murdock suggested that President Trump should file a lawsuit against the individual in question for sex and race discrimination, as their comments about “stale ideas” being “too male and too pale” are potentially discriminatory and go against the principles outlined in the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

According to Murdock, if she is involved in sexual and racial discrimination and uses such language, she could potentially face legal consequences under the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Given that her office receives federal funding for law enforcement subsidies, any discriminatory behavior or language could leave her vulnerable to legal action.

Donald J. Trump should file a lawsuit against Letitia James, citing violations of civil rights.

In several instances, Trump has consistently accused James, an African-American, of conducting a racially biased and politically motivated investigation against him.

In a piece for The American Spectator, Murdock proposed that the ex-president should take legal action against James, questioning, “Why not? What does Trump have to lose?”

“He should promptly file a federal complaint and seek justice under America’s influential civil rights law. It would be an extraordinary turn of events to witness a white male billionaire taking legal action against a female attorney general of color in order to protect his civil rights. Such a story would truly be a remarkable and unexpected twist.”

America has a lot to be grateful for when it comes to the incredible display that has unfolded, and we have New York state’s top authoritarian, Attorney General Letitia James, to thank for it.

We have reached out to James’ office and Trump’s legal team via email for their comments.

Following Trump’s criticism of Fox News’ coverage of the New York civil fraud case, Murdock made his remarks.

On Sunday, just before his original deadline to pay the cash bond and prevent Letitia James from seizing his assets, Trump took to Truth Social to express his dissatisfaction with how FoxNews was reporting the Letitia James Election Interference Scam. “Don’t like the way FoxNews is reporting,” he stated.

“They refuse to address the absurdity of the Corrupt Judge’s fine of 450 Million Dollars. It ought to be zero dollars.”

“The Crooked Judge’s valuation of Mar-a-Lago at $18,000,000 was nothing but a fraudulent attempt to bolster his already discredited narrative. They should compensate me for the harm they have caused, and they will eventually pay for their actions,” he expressed.
