Late-night talk show host, Jimmy Kimmel, expressed his strong disapproval of Donald Trump’s recent attack on President Joe Biden. Kimmel found the attack to be particularly distressing and took the opportunity to criticize Trump for his actions.
Earlier today, Trump made several posts on his struggling Truth Social website, where he referred to Biden as “Crooked Joe.” These posts were filled with numerous outrageous claims and statements.
The host became visibly agitated during his monologue on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
He argued that the nickname “Crooked Hillary” was assigned to Hillary Clinton and cannot simply be reassigned. He compared it to the nicknames “Magic Johnson” and “Magic Larry Bird,” explaining that it doesn’t work that way.
During the 2016 campaign and beyond, Trump consistently referred to Hillary Clinton as “Crooked Hillary.” However, he announced last year that he would retire that nickname and instead refer to her as “Beautiful Hillary,” in order to redirect the “crooked” insult towards Biden.
Kimmel remains unconvinced.
“This is simply a case of lazy Donald Trumping,” he remarked. “While I understand that he lacks shame for many things, he should at least feel some degree of shame for this particular action.”
In his Tuesday night monologue, he further elaborated on the topic.
