Four people broke into a Gwinnett home, and police say they may have done so throughout metro Atlanta

Gwinnett County police are currently on the lookout for four individuals who allegedly trespassed into a woman’s residence.

On May 3, a woman reported to the police that upon returning home from a few days out of town, she discovered that her residence had been burglarized.

According to investigators, four suspects arrived at the residence in a U-Haul truck and proceeded to load furniture, shoes, a PlayStation 5, and the victim’s 2008 Toyota Solara. As of now, the whereabouts of the car remain unknown.

Three of the individuals involved in the incident have been identified by the police. The first is Marion King, aged 24, from Stockbridge. The second is Jhaniah Lanier, also 24, from Lithonia. Lastly, Derrick Martin, aged 38, from Ellenwood has been identified. However, the authorities are still working on identifying the fourth person involved.

King, Lanier, and Martin have been charged with burglary and theft by taking, although they have not yet been taken into custody.

According to detectives, it is possible that the group is also behind a series of burglaries in Dunwoody and unincorporated DeKalb County.

If you have any information about the whereabouts of the suspects, please contact the Gwinnett police at 770-513-5300.
