Father’s murderer in Friendswood home sentenced to life in prison, according to police

According to the Friendswood Police Department, a man was found guilty on Friday of killing his father in a Friendswood residence in September 2022 and was given a life sentence.

Luke Starling entered a guilty plea to murder for the death of Christopher Starling in the 400 block of Oak Vista Drive on September 12, 2022.

The day after Luke’s father’s remains were discovered in his house, Friendswood Police arrested him.

To see this case through to completion, investigators are collaborating with the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office.
