video shows a Boeing jet making an emergency landing in South Africa

Boeing continues to face a series of unfortunate events, with the latest incident involving an emergency landing of one of its jets in South Africa.

On Sunday, while en route from Johannesburg to Cape Town, the FlySafair Boeing 737 encountered difficulties during takeoff at OR Tambo International Airport. The aircraft was packed with passengers at the time.

The commercial plane experienced a malfunction in one of its wheels while it was in the process of making an emergency landing back at OR Tambo Airport.

Check out the video of the massive aircraft as it gracefully glides towards the runway. The landing, however, is not as smooth as expected, as plumes of smoke emerge from underneath one of the wheels. Upon closer observation, it appears that the right wing might have even collapsed during the landing.

Fortunately, the plane eventually came to a stop, and fortunately, no one on board was harmed.

During takeoff, FlySafair experienced an incident where one of the two attached left rear landing wheels detached. However, the spokesperson did not mention the apparent issue with the wing.

Fortunately, the passengers were able to board another plane, which safely took them to Cape Town.

Boeing has faced a challenging journey over the last six years, as they have consistently experienced similar issues with their planes. This ongoing problem has led to US Senate hearings aimed at evaluating the company’s safety protocols in light of these aircraft-related concerns.
