Taylor Swift’s school teachers said she was a poet at an early age

Taylor Swift, even from a young age, demonstrated a genuine passion for the written word and had a talent for poetry, according to her elementary school teachers.

Barbara Kolvek and Heather Brown, the educators, recently spoke to CBS Philadelphia about the early passion for poetry that the pop superstar had.

During her time as a student at Wyndcroft School in Pottstown, PA, Taylor, a young and enthusiastic student, would often fill her class notebooks with heartfelt poems. This creative urge was a constant presence from her first-grade years all the way up to fourth grade. Even at a young age, Taylor’s passion for writing and expressing herself through poetry was evident.

Kolvek reveals that she had the pleasure of giving Taylor her very first singing solo, a delightful tune titled “Fast Talk Freddie.” What’s more, the two managed to stay in touch for quite some time. Throughout the years, Taylor graciously showered Kolvek with heartfelt gifts, including a signed T-shirt, a cuddly stuffed snowman, and other precious keepsakes.

Kolvek expressed that he believes he may have provided a small boost or motivation for her to pursue her current endeavors.

According to CBS, Brown, who claims to have been Taylor’s third-grade teacher, noticed a unique quality in the renowned artist.

SWIFT THROUGH THE ERAS!

According to Brown, Taylor had a remarkable ability to engage and involve her classmates at Wyndcroft through her drawings.

The teacher expressed her immense excitement whenever she sees Taylor performing on stage, proudly acknowledging, “I was her teacher.”

Brown continues to send Taylor a Christmas card annually, although he acknowledges that she may no longer receive his messages.

Last week, Taylor’s highly popular album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” was released, and Brown couldn’t be more excited for her former student. According to Brown, everything Taylor gets involved in has a Midas touch.
