A tragic accident occurred in Monroe County, claiming the life of a 53-year-old woman from Toledo, Michigan.
At 7:10 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024, troopers responded to the crash at the intersection of North Telegraph Road and Indian Trail Road.
According to witnesses and evidence, a 53-year-old woman from Toledo, Ohio, was driving a 2022 Toyota Camry south on North Telegraph Road. Unfortunately, she lost control of the vehicle and crossed over the center line, entering into oncoming traffic.
The Camry collided with a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado, which was heading north on North Telegraph Road. The Silverado was being driven by a 28-year-old man from Monroe. Following the accident, the driver of the Silverado and three passengers in the Camry were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
