Rashee Rice, facing eight charges, has arrest warrant issued

According to a report by WFAA, an arrest warrant has been issued for Rashee Rice, a wide receiver for the Chiefs, in connection with a multi-vehicle crash that occurred in Dallas last month. Rice’s attorney has confirmed that his client was driving the Lamborghini SUV involved in the incident, which was allegedly racing against a Corvette leased in Rice’s name.

WFAA has obtained the arrest warrant which states that Rice, aged 23, is charged with six counts of collision involving bodily injury, one count of collision involving serious bodily injury, and one count of aggravated assault.

All the charges are classified as felonies.

Theodore Knox, the driver of the Corvette, will be facing the same charges as Rice. It is worth noting that a Teddy Knox is listed as a cornerback on SMU’s football team, which happens to be the same college where Rice played.

According to WFAA, suspects in Dallas are given a 24-hour grace period to surrender themselves before police officers are dispatched to execute the arrest warrant.

On March 30, the luxury cars associated with Rice were speeding on North Central Expressway, resulting in a loss of control for both vehicles. The crash involved four other cars.

According to the police report, all six individuals who were in the Lamborghini and Corvette fled the scene without exchanging information or insurance, leaving behind multiple victims.

In both cars, authorities discovered marijuana, along with credit cards, a $16,500 check, a diamond chain, and the playbook for the Chiefs.

Two individuals involved in the crash were taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

He may face disciplinary action from the NFL for breaching the Personal Conduct Policy.
