‘Operation One Fight’ leads to arrest of nearly 50 wanted fugitives in Georgia and Alabama

Nearly 50 wanted fugitives have been arrested in a joint operation involving law enforcement agencies from across Georgia and Alabama, specifically Muscogee County.

The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia has reported the arrest of 46 fugitives through their initiative called “Operation One Fight.” Among the apprehended individuals, six have been identified as confirmed gang members.

Law enforcement authorities made several arrests and confiscated over $20,000 worth of illegal drugs, along with a stolen vehicle and 13 firearms.

Several agencies participated in the operation, including the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Columbus Police Department, Coweta County Sheriff’s Office, Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, Ft. Moore CID, Russell County Sheriff’s Office, Georgia State Patrol, United States Marshal’s Services, United States Department of Homeland Security, and other federal partners.

The authorities are still investigating these cases.
