Lieutenant from Georgia arrested for engaging in inappropriate behavior with inmate at state prison

A lieutenant from the Georgia Department of Corrections has been taken into custody following allegations that he engaged in inappropriate behavior with a female inmate at the Lee Arrendale State Prison. According to officials, the lieutenant touched and kissed the inmate while on duty.

On May 1st, Russell Clark was taken into custody for allegedly committing sexual assault and violating his oath as a public officer.

Arrest warrants reveal that Clark engaged in inappropriate touching and kissing of a female inmate in the stairwell of the main dormitories.

According to jail records, Clark was taken into custody and later released on a $11,200 bond at the Habersham County Jail.
