In a recent interview on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, the actress and singer opened up about her past relationship with musician Chris Robinson. The couple was married from 2000 to 2007 and has a son named Ryder.
During her recent interview with host Alex Cooper, Hudson, who was only 21 years old when she got married to The Black Crowes singer at the time, expressed that she has no regrets about their whirlwind marriage.
“I never doubted it for a moment. Our bond was so strong,” Hudson expressed. “Chris imparted invaluable lessons to me about love and the power of connection. It truly was an incredibly passionate relationship.”

According to her, a unit can exist in a different way, breaking away from the traditional religious concept of marriage and the male-female relationship.

“It’s easy to have healthier relationships when you have the means and the ability to choose,” Hudson remarked. “Just because you’re not meant to be with someone doesn’t mean you can’t create a beautiful and fulfilling experience. I can’t explain how we’ve managed to do it, but we simply do, all of us.”
Best known for her acting prowess, the Oscar nominee has finally ventured into the music industry. Her long-awaited debut album, titled “Glorious,” was released on May 17th.
