Jennifer Lopez Cancels Summer Tour: ‘I Am Completely Heartsick and Devastated’

Jennifer Lopez has decided to cancel her North American tour for 2024, Live Nation representatives confirmed to The Associated Press.

In a statement, it was announced that Jennifer will be taking a break from her work to spend quality time with her children, family, and close friends.

After a five-year hiatus, she embarked on her first tour, showcasing her latest solo album, “This Is Me…. Now,” along with its accompanying film.

The tour was originally planned to start on June 26 in Orlando, Florida, and wrap up in Houston on Aug. 31. Live Nation has announced that those who bought tickets through Ticketmaster will receive automatic refunds.

In her heartfelt message to her fans on her OntheJLo website and newsletter, Lopez expressed her deep sorrow and devastation for disappointing them. She reassured them that she would not take this step if she didn’t believe it was absolutely necessary.

She reassured them, saying, “I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…”

“This Is Me… Now” hit the shelves earlier this year, two decades following the release of her popular album, “This Is Me… Then.” According to Lopez, the new album is nothing short of a “miracle” and represents a “second chance.” She expressed her desire to capture the essence of this moment in history, just as her previous album did.
