Identification of the two victims killed in shooting at Buckhead lounge

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victims of a shooting at a lounge in Buckhead.

21-year-old Mari Creighton and 20-year-old Nakyris M. Ridley have been identified as the two victims.

The Elleven45 Lounge was the scene of a shooting that took place around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday. According to the police, the incident occurred when a gunman opened fire amidst a fight inside the club.

Unfortunately, Creighton and Ridley did not make it through their injuries, and it is a tragic loss. Additionally, there were four other individuals who sustained injuries as a result of the shooting.

Authorities are currently conducting a search for the individual responsible for the shooting. At this time, no details regarding the suspect’s physical appearance or characteristics have been released by the police.

Albany State has confirmed that Creighton was a volleyball player for the Golden Rams.

The school expressed its profound sadness over the loss of Mariam Creighton, one of its student-athletes. The Golden Ram athletics community sends heartfelt condolences to Mari’s family, friends, and teammates as they navigate through this extremely challenging period.
