Chicago group arrested in Gwinnett County for possession of stolen car, stolen gun, and drugs

Five individuals were apprehended in Gwinnett County after law enforcement discovered drugs and a stolen firearm within the stolen vehicle they were operating. The individuals were traveling from Chicago at the time of their arrest.

On April 4th, the Gwinnett County police aviation unit assisted officers in locating a stolen vehicle in the parking lot of 1625 Pleasant Hill Road in unincorporated Duluth.

During the interview, the officers gathered valuable information from the five suspects. It was revealed that the group had embarked on a journey, starting from Chicago and making their way through various states, before finally reaching metro Atlanta.

Officers discovered a stolen firearm and illicit substances during their search of the stolen vehicle.

A 23-year-old woman from Chicago, named Aniyah Falon Barber, has been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and two counts of theft by receiving stolen property.

Laroy Allen-Burse, aged 33, from Atlanta, along with Marquise T. Ellison, aged 27, from Chicago, Lamont William Hall, Jr., aged 32, also from Chicago, and Dominique Bell, aged 37, from Indiana, have been charged with theft by receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance.

Hall was a person with multiple outstanding arrest warrants.

The Gwinnett County Jail has booked all five suspects.
