Two lucky individuals from the metro area are now $1 million richer.

The Georgia Lottery has officially confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that two lucky individuals in Georgia have each won a staggering $1,000,000.

The lucky tickets were bought at the following locations:

    • RaceTrac #0328, 2337 Canton Road, Marietta
    • Newnan Food Mart, 67 Market Square Road, Newnan

Tuesday’s jackpot ranked as the fifth-largest in the history of Mega Millions.

The lucky combination consisted of the numbers 7, 11, 22, 29, and 38. The Mega Ball number that accompanied them was 4, and the Megaplier added a 2X multiplier to the winnings.
