Canarsie mourns at funeral for 14-year-old victim of driver’s fatal crash

A funeral was held on Saturday to honor the life of a 14-year-old boy who tragically lost his life two weeks ago in a fatal accident caused by a driver near his home in Canarsie.

Christian Antoine’s family claims that he was running errands for his father when the tragic accident occurred.

Rayan Salmon faced arrest and was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Many of his schoolmates and staff members attended his funeral, which was a testament to the impact he had on those around him. According to his grieving family, this loss has been the most challenging and heartbreaking experience they have ever faced.

Eudayna Guichard fondly remembers her younger brother as the sweetest and most lovable sibling anyone could have.

His family wants the world to remember him as a sweet boy with dreams of becoming a chef and a doctor.

Antoine’s final resting place will be Canarsie cemetery.
