During an interview on Tamron Hall’s self-titled show, Badu addressed Cam’ron’s comments about her allure with men. She referred to it as “mystical powers” and acknowledged the urban legend that men, women, children, and even animals can’t look her in the eye without falling in love. Badu emphasized that her magic is not found in the bedroom but rather between her ears, as it is indescribable and goes beyond physical attributes.

“Mase expressed his thoughts on Dwyane Wade painting his nails, comparing it to the surprising sight of Michael Jordan wearing lingerie.”

In a 2020 interview with Rolling Stone, Badu also shared, “There’s an urban legend that my womanhood has the ability to transform men.” Prior to this, rapper Common, who was previously romantically involved with Badu, also hinted at her mysterious influence over her partners.

During an interview with The Combat Jack Show in 2014, he expressed, “Yeah, the ‘Badu Box’ is real. It has the power to transport you to another universe. But seriously, it’s when you meet someone who is truly extraordinary and you think to yourself, ‘Man, this woman has something more.’ It’s not just about the physical attraction or appearance. It’s a deeper connection, almost spiritual, that makes you recognize that she possesses something unique.”
