On Saturday afternoon, February 24, Richard Whiddon, 37, and his wife Rebecca Whiddon, 33, were riding in a Nissan when it was hit near the intersection of Veterans Highway and Ford Road, according to Daily Voice.
According to heartfelt posts on Facebook, family and friends shared that the married couple had traveled to Bucks County to spend time with loved ones.
Rebecca’s aunt, Julie Bass Divens, expressed the deep anguish and despair that has engulfed their family due to the tragic and senseless loss of their lives. She emphasized that both Rebecca and her partner had vibrant lives filled with endless possibilities for the future.
“Cherish those you hold close, and make sure to express your love before they are taken away from you.”
After the couple was identified, friends and loved ones took to social media to express their heartfelt memorials.
Shannon Barnard, a close friend of Rich, expressed the profound impact he had on her life by saying, “Rich was truly an exceptional individual, someone I consider the best person I have ever known. The world will undoubtedly feel his absence.”
