Brazilian Woman Taken into Arrest for Bringing Dead Uncle to Bank to Get Loan

A woman from Brazil attempted to recreate a scene from the movie “Weekend at Bernie’s” by bringing her deceased uncle to a bank and pretending he was alive in order to secure a loan under his name. However, this plan backfired, leading to her arrest.

Throughout the video, the woman is shown engaging in conversation with her deceased uncle. She speaks to him, questioning if he can hear her and if he is listening. She even goes as far as asking him to sign, despite the fact that he is unable to respond. Additionally, she tries to keep his head upright as it continuously tilts and falls backward.

Employees at the bank remained skeptical until they finally decided to alert the police, who subsequently apprehended Erika. The authorities later verified that the deceased individual was named Paulo Roberto Braga and had already been deceased for several hours prior to being brought into the bank on Tuesday.

Erika might face charges for theft by fraud, embezzlement, and abusing a corpse. Police are investigating the cause of death for a man and possible involvement of other family members.

Surprisingly, Larry and Rich’s scheme remains active even after 35 years!
