Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are maintaining a cordial relationship and continue to communicate with each other as they navigate their current situation. Although they briefly came together for the sake of their children, they are not currently residing in the same home.
The couple made their first public appearance in more than a month on Thursday evening, attending a school play featuring Ben’s child, Fin.
During the reunion, J Lo and Ben Affleck refrained from any public displays of affection, choosing instead to keep their hands to themselves. Joining them was J Lo’s child, Emme, who was also present to witness the play.
After the event, Ben took Jen and Emme back to their family home in Beverly Hills, which he and the singer purchased for a whopping $60 million just last year.
The Oscar winner, later on, returned to his newly rented place in Brentwood, emphasizing the fact that he and Jen are currently living separately.

Ben and Jen’s love story has encountered several obstacles along the way. The couple initially came together in 2002, while working together on the film “Gigli.” They were engaged for a short period of time, but ultimately decided to call off the engagement in 2004.
