The authorities have stated that the executive director of the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in Arkansas was wounded in a firefight at his home on Tuesday morning. It is alleged that he fired shots at federal agents who were trying to serve a search warrant.
Bryan Malinowski, 53, got caught in the crossfire when ATF agents arrived at the scene and exchanged gunfire just after 6 a.m., according to the agency.

According to the ATF, the injured agent sustained injuries that were not life-threatening.
The ATF has not disclosed the details of the search warrant, leaving Matthew Malinowski, a resident of Pennsylvania, in the dark about the circumstances of the case. He mentioned that his brother was a passionate firearms collector.
“It’s all just speculation at this point,” he shared. “I have a hunch that he might have purchased something he wasn’t supposed to. That’s the only explanation that comes to mind.”
The elder Malinowski was taken aback by the shooting incident. He mentioned that his brother had recently been in Washington D.C., where he had met with Arkansas senators.
“He said that was the circle he ran in.”

According to his brother, Bryan Malinowski was a successful individual who owned five properties and earned an annual income between $270,000 to $280,000. He also held a position of authority at the airport in Little Rock, overseeing approximately 2,000 employees.

Matthew Malinowski expressed his perspective on the situation, highlighting the importance of maintaining a positive reputation when one is in a favorable position. According to him, the individual in question had always been careful to avoid any misconduct, leading to a harmonious and trouble-free existence. In his opinion, this person had managed to cultivate a well-liked and respected image, as no adversaries were known to exist.
Barbara Haigh, the mother of Bryan Malinowski, expressed her deep sorrow over the situation.
She exclaimed, “That is my precious little one. One of my beloved babies.”
The case is currently under investigation by the Arkansas State Police.
According to Shane Carter, the public affairs director for the Clinton National Airport, Bryan Malinowski serves as the airport’s executive director. However, Carter refrained from providing any additional comments on the matter.
Bill Walker, the Chairman of the Airport Commission, wasted no time in appointing Tom Clarke as the acting airport executive director just hours after the shooting incident took place.

Bryan Malinowski became a part of Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in 2008, where he initially served as the director of Properties, Planning, and Development. Due to his commendable performance, he was promoted to the position of deputy director in 2009. In 2019, he advanced further and took on the role of executive director, as stated in his biography on the airport’s official website.
With over 30 years of airport leadership experience under his belt, he joined the team after serving in various roles at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, El Paso International Airport, and Lehigh Valley International Airport.
