Nick Pasqual faced a halt at the U.S. Customs and Border checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas. He is anticipated to be released on a bond exceeding $1 million and will be heading back to Los Angeles. Both Entertainment Tonight and a GoFundMe page have identified the victim as Allie Shehorn, a renowned Hollywood makeup artist.
Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon expressed his condolences and sympathy for the victim involved in the horrifying incident. In a heartfelt statement, he mentioned that his office, including the Bureau of Victim Services, is ready to provide support and resources to help her through the challenging process of recovering from both the physical and emotional trauma she has endured.
Gascon’s office accused Pasqual of leaving the scene, but he was eventually stopped and detained in Texas. The office did not provide a specific date for when he was taken into custody there.
Shehorn has contributed to various projects including Rebel Moon: Part 1, Mean Girls, and How I Met Your Mother, as reported by Entertainment Tonight.
According to Christine White, she was with Shehorn on the night of the alleged attack. She discovered Shehorn injured in her bedroom following the incident, as she informed the entertainment news show.
A group of friends has come together to create a GoFundMe page, which has successfully raised over $94,000 to support the medical expenses of their dear friend. She has undergone numerous surgeries already and is anticipated to have a prolonged hospital stay as she continues her recovery journey.
