A Kansas City resident won a $2 million scratcher ticket: ‘I bought it because it was pretty!”

A woman from Kansas City has become $2 million richer after making a spontaneous decision.

The lucky “Sizzling Riches” scratcher ticket was bought at the Swope Xpress Mart located at 2601 Swope Parkway in Kansas City, Kansas.

A fortunate woman from Missouri struck it big when she won the top prize of $2 million on a $20 lottery ticket. She chose the ticket based on its attractive red and gold design.

“It was a spontaneous decision,” she explained. “I purchased it simply because it caught my eye with its beauty.”

One day after the Missouri Lottery revealed that two high-value winning tickets were bought at gas stations in Kansas City, which were located within a two-mile radius of each other.
