Chrysler has issued a recall for over 338,000 Jeep Grand Cherokees of recent models due to potential issues with their steering components.
Chrysler has recently announced a safety concern regarding certain vehicles. In a letter published on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s website, the company stated that there is a possibility of the upper control arm ball joints and steering knuckles separating in the affected vehicles. This could lead to a wheel falling outward, ultimately resulting in a loss of vehicle control.
Chrysler has recently announced a recall for certain Jeep models due to potential safety issues. The affected vehicles include the 2021-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L and the 2022-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It is important to note that Chrysler has stated there have been no reported accidents or injuries associated with this problem.
Chrysler has announced that dealers will provide free replacements for the affected components. It is expected that owner notification letters will be sent out by April 12, 2024.
