Driver with suspended license surprises judge by appearing in court behind the wheel

A driver in the US shocked a judge when he joined his court hearing via a Zoom call while parking his car.

Judge Cedric Simpson was taken aback when defendant Corey Harris appeared on the screen during their court session in Michigan. Harris calmly stated that he had just arrived at his doctor’s office.

The judge expressed their confusion, stating, “I can’t understand why he would do that.”

“The defendant must surrender himself to the Washtenaw County Jail by 6pm today,” he emphasized.

“Oh my God,” exclaimed Mr. Harris, gazing up at the sky in utter disbelief.
