High school graduate featured in viral ‘Black Panther’ dancing video is a former student of Ron Clark Academy

A student from the Ron Clark Academy couldn’t hide his excitement when he had the opportunity to watch “Black Panther.” The moment was captured and swiftly became viral.

Six years have passed, and now he finds himself smiling and dancing for a different reason: his graduation!

Jaycob Linsey, a recent graduate, celebrated his graduation from Therrell High School in southwest Atlanta this week.

Jaycob, the energetic child who couldn’t contain his excitement, made a lasting impression when the students of Ron Clark Academy were surprised with a special screening of “Black Panther.” He joyfully danced atop his seat, capturing the sheer elation of the moment.

The video has gained over 10 million views on Facebook alone, not to mention the countless shares on Instagram and X. It even caught the attention of the late star Chadwick Boseman.

Celebrating graduating couldn’t get any better than reliving that viral moment. The video from Jaycob’s graduation party, shared by Ron Clark Academy’s communications director, shows that he still has those awesome moves.

Jaycob became an internet sensation during his time in sixth grade. Currently, he is eagerly preparing to start his academic journey at Alabama A&M in the upcoming fall.
