Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Seen Enjoying a Date Night After Returning from Nigeria

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle marked their return to the U.S. after their visit to Nigeria by going out for dinner with friends.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex enjoyed a night out at Lucky’s steakhouse in Montecito, California, accompanied by their friends Brian and Tracy Robbins on Saturday, May 18, as reported by Tatler. This outing took place just one day before the couple celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary.

Harry and Meghan tied the knot on May 19, 2018, at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. Meghan looked radiant in a beautiful white long-sleeved gown designed by Givenchy, while Harry donned his military attire for the televised ceremony. The event was graced by members of the royal family, world leaders, and the couple’s celebrity friends.

In January of this year, the pair had the opportunity to spend time with Brian, the CEO of Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon, and his wife at the Jamaica premiere of “Bob Marley: One Love.”

Harry and Meghan had a delightful date night in California, taking some time off after their three-day visit to Nigeria. Their trip was in honor of the 10th anniversary of Harry’s Invictus Games. It all started with a tour and meeting with students from the Lightway Academy in Abuja on May 10.

During a school visit, Meghan shared a heartwarming anecdote about her 2-year-old daughter, Princess Lilibet. She mentioned that Lili is much smaller than the students she was speaking to and is about to turn 3. Meghan revealed that a few weeks ago, Lili looked at her and saw her own reflection in her mother’s eyes. Lili affectionately said, “Mama, I see me in you.” Meghan and Harry also have a son named Prince Archie, who is 5 years old.

During a women in leadership panel, Meghan humorously referred to her children as “very chatty and sweet.”

During the Africa trip, Meghan not only handled her own hair and makeup, but she also adorned herself with one of Princess Diana’s necklaces. The gold necklace, gifted by Harry to Meghan, showcased a diamond cross.

During the peak of their trip, the couple attracted attention due to a potential controversy. California Attorney General, Rob Bonta, accused Harry and Meghan’s Archewell Foundation of being “delinquent.” He claimed that the couple had not paid the registration fees for their organization since the start of May.

According to Bonta, an organization that is marked as delinquent is considered not in good standing and is prohibited from carrying out activities that require registration, such as fundraising or distributing charitable funds. In addition, the organization may face penalties and have its registration suspended or revoked by the Registry.

According to Us Weekly, the foundation’s paperwork was not filed on time. However, they did send a physical check for the fees, but it was not received. They have since sent a new check.

The Archewell Foundation spokesperson assured Us that they have conducted a thorough investigation into the matter and confirmed that the foundation is fully compliant and in good standing. They stated that all payments were made promptly and in accordance with the IRS’s processes and procedures. Additionally, they mentioned that all necessary paperwork had been filed without any errors or wrongdoing.
