Paramount has confirmed that the popular contemporary western series, “Yellowstone,” has resumed filming in Montana.
The highly anticipated fifth season of the show, created by Taylor Sheridan, is set to premiere in November.
The cast list for the project has not been revealed, leaving fans to speculate whether Kevin Costner, who had previously stated that he would not be returning due to scheduling conflicts, may have had a change of heart and decided to stay until the end.
The previous seasons of “Yellowstone” featured an incredible cast including Costner, Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, Wes Bentley, and Luke Grimes.
The TV show Yellowstone tells the story of the Dutton family, who are in charge of the largest continuous cattle ranch in the United States. The ranch is constantly at odds with its neighbors, including a growing town, an Indian reservation, and the country’s first national park. With shifting alliances, unsolved murders, lingering tensions, and hard-earned respect, the Dutton family’s ranch is a constant battleground.
The mid-season finale was broadcasted in January 2023. Shooting got postponed because of Costner’s busy schedule, along with the prolonged strikes by writers and actors.
The popular shows “1883” and “1923” serve as prequels, delving into the lives of previous generations of the Dutton family.
Kevin Costner’s movie, “Horizon: An American Saga,” which he both starred in and directed, had its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in France over the weekend. The film is anticipated to be the first installment of a trilogy.
