A 34-year-old driver is facing multiple charges as deputies caught him driving recklessly on a Georgia highway.
On Friday, around 3 p.m., numerous reports flooded in to Rabun County about a gray 2014 Nissan Sentra. The vehicle was spotted speeding and driving recklessly in the southbound lane of Georgia State Route 15. It caught attention due to the ‘overside load’ banner it carried.
Ricardo Burgos-Moreno, 34, from Conley, was identified as the driver.
A concerned caller informed the dispatch that Burgos-Moreno was deliberately causing other drivers to veer off the road.
According to deputies from Rabun, the vehicle proceeded southbound into the city of Clayton. Officers observed Burgos-Moreno speeding, tailgating other vehicles, and driving without headlights in the rain.
A Clayton officer attempted to catch up with the car, which was heading southbound on GA 15 near the Clayton Walmart intersection.
