Floyd Mayweather donates $30K to homeless men before Clippers-Mavs game

Floyd Mayweather, the legendary boxer, made quite an impression at last night’s crucial Clippers vs. Mavericks game. However, before he even stepped foot inside the arena, he displayed his generosity by giving $30,000 to three homeless individuals. This act of kindness showcases Mayweather’s willingness to help those in need.

According to insiders, Mayweather spotted a group of men on the street as he was leaving the downtown L.A. Ritz last night. He was on his way to Crypto.com Arena for game 5.

Mayweather initiated a conversation with the individuals and expressed his desire to assist them. Without hesitation, he reached into his backpack and generously gifted each person with a substantial sum of money, amounting to 10,000 dollars.

After receiving the generous gift, one of the men, Reynolds, expressed his gratitude, saying, “I don’t want to show my face, but [Floyd] just gave us $30,000.”

The men were afraid that if any pictures were leaked, they would become targets due to their possession of the money.

“We don’t want to risk getting robbed, so we’ll go ahead and find a motel.”

California is home to the largest homeless population in the United States, with government data revealing that there are over 180,000 unhoused individuals in the state. Nationally, the total number of individuals experiencing homelessness is estimated to be around 650,000.

The aim is for the funds to empower these individuals, enabling them to enhance their circumstances and regain stability.

Floyd Mayweather’s generosity extended beyond the men he encountered outside the upscale hotel. In addition to that, the undefeated 50-0 fighter also provided $500 to a group of kids who were selling candy nearby.
