Deputies seek man accused of stealing $3M worth of copper and other metals in Macon

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is currently on the lookout for a man who stands accused of committing a massive theft of copper and other valuable metals, with an estimated worth amounting to millions of dollars.

Daniel Clayton Hobbs is being sought after for his involvement in a burglary that occurred on Riverside Park Blvd. in Macon.

The sheriff’s office reported that Hobbs has stolen metals valued at around $3 million.
