9-Year-Old Boy Evades Bullets During Fort Worth Drive-By Shooting

In an instant, his house comes under attack … and in a split second, the boy reacts by diving onto the armrest before swiftly making his way to his mother’s room. His quick thinking and instinctive response enable him to avoid any harm.

The situation inside was undeniably horrifying, but the chaos outside was equally as distressing.

Six additional individuals sustained injuries, with their ages ranging from 3 to 19 years old. Among them, a toddler suffered the most severe injury after being struck in a drive-by shooting. Fortunately, the toddler’s 6-year-old sibling was also injured but both children managed to survive and are now in the process of recovering from their wounds.

The 9-year-old, who narrowly escaped becoming a victim in the shooting, responded to the incident in a heart-wrenching manner. In an interview with FOX4, he expressed his relief at not being hit but also his empathy for the children who were injured. He described feeling terrorized during those moments.

The police have obtained external surveillance footage, which seems to capture someone firing shots from the back seat of a red Kia Soul.

No one has been arrested in connection with the incident. Two separate GoFundMe campaigns have been launched in response to the tragedy: one to support the victims and another to assist the boy’s mother in relocating from the neighborhood.
