The TikTok community is mourning the loss of one of its brightest stars.
Kimberley Nix, aged 31, passed away on May 8 after a courageous three-year fight against sarcoma, a rare form of cancer.
In a heartbreaking video recorded before her untimely passing, the content creator, who had been sharing her cancer journey on TikTok and Instagram, personally confirmed the devastating news.
Kimberley started her TikTok video on May 8 by stating, “If you’re seeing this message, I have passed away peacefully.”
Kimberley, a resident doctor specialized in internal medicine, expressed her deep appreciation for the “beautiful life” she had and the immense pride she felt. She shared the most treasured aspects of her life, which encompassed her beloved pets, her husband Michael MacIsaac, and her passion for makeup, listed in reverse order. Additionally, Kimberley expressed her gratitude for the unwavering support of her family and friends who played an integral role in her happiness.
The medical resident also expressed gratitude for the fortunate opportunity to gain a following on the social media platform. This has enabled her to make significant strides in raising awareness for sarcoma.
