$100,000 offered as reward for series of burglaries targeting U.S.P.S offices in Kansas

The United States Postal Inspection Service is currently offering a reward of up to $100,000 for any information that can help solve a series of burglaries that have occurred in USPS offices located south of Kansas City.

According to Paul Shade, a postal inspector and public information officer for the USPIS, investigators are currently reviewing four burglaries that occurred earlier this month. These burglaries are being considered as potentially connected due to their close proximity to each other.

    • The first burglary took place between 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 4 and 8:30 a.m. on Friday, April 5, at the USPS office in Parker, Kansas.
    • The second burglary took place between 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, April 6 and 7:45 a.m. on Monday, April 8, at the USPS office in Bucyrus, Kansas.
    • The third burglary took place between 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 6 and 7:50 a.m. on Monday, April 8, at the USPS office in Lane, Kansas.
    • The fourth burglary took place between 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 6 and 7:50 a.m. on Monday, April 8, at the USPS office in Rantoul, Kansas.
