Young Democratic voter expresses regret over voting for Biden: ‘Honestly…I feel ashamed’

A new report highlights that President Biden’s backing of Israel during their conflict with Hamas may jeopardize his support among college-age voters.

According to a new report, President Biden’s administration’s support for Israel is causing anger among younger Democrats in critical swing states, potentially putting his votes at risk.

During his recent campaign stops, CNN’s Jeff Zeleny had the opportunity to speak to college students from Pennsylvania and Wisconsin who gathered to protest the president. It was observed that some of the students even held signs that read “Genocide Joe.”

Zeleny was informed by them that they would not be able to vote for Biden unless there was a significant shift in U.S. foreign policy.

According to Karim Safieddine, a PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh, he does not think that many people will be voting for Joe Biden.

Anna Soryal, a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, expressed her surprise at the Biden campaign’s apparent disregard for public opinion regarding the Israel war.

Soryal expressed her regret for having voted for Biden in 2020 and admitted feeling ashamed about her decision.

“I am embarrassed when I look back at the first time I was able to vote in a presidential election,” she candidly admitted to CNN.

Michael Moore has issued a warning to President Biden, cautioning him about the potential consequences of his support for Israel. Drawing parallels to Hillary Clinton’s loss in the 2016 presidential election, Moore suggests that Biden could face a similar fate if he continues to align himself with Israel. This warning serves as a reminder of the complex dynamics surrounding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the impact it can have on political outcomes.

Pro-Palestinian protests have been trailing Biden throughout his campaign, causing concern among liberal outlets like MSNBC who caution that he may lose progressive voters in crucial battleground states due to this issue.

University of Wisconsin student Dahlia Saba, who played a key role in organizing a protest primary vote in Wisconsin in early April, expressed her belief that Biden deliberately avoids campaign stops at college campuses due to his anticipation of encountering strong opposition from students.

She claimed that his policies have resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands.

According to the college student, voters like herself will not be compelled by the Democratic Party to cease their protests against Biden simply because “another candidate is worse.”

“The President firmly believes that it is essential for every American to express their opinions and actively engage in our democratic processes. He is committed to achieving a peaceful resolution and bringing an end to violence in the Middle East. The President is putting in relentless efforts towards achieving this goal,” stated a spokesperson.

In a March survey conducted by Fox News, it was discovered that former President Donald Trump maintains a slim two-point advantage over Biden among registered voters in Pennsylvania.

Last week, CNN reported on young Black voters in Georgia expressing regrets about voting for Biden in the last election due to the conflict in Gaza. This latest report echoes similar sentiments from the previous one.
