A tornado watch has been issued for the Chicago area, as well as parts of northwest Indiana and southern Wisconsin, until 10 p.m. Tuesday, according to WBBM NEWSRADIO.
The National Weather Service announced on Tuesday afternoon as the region is about to experience a dramatic shift in weather conditions. What was once sunny skies and pleasant temperatures in the mid-70s, is now expected to turn into stormy weather with potential for rain, flash flooding, and hail. Additionally, there will be a significant drop in temperatures, with Wednesday’s forecast ranging from the 20s to 30s.
Good news awaits as the weekend brings a much-anticipated warmup.
