Two of three surviving pit bulls who mauled a man in Philadelphia have been found, with one still missing

Three dogs, who had escaped after attacking a man on the street in Philadelphia, have been partially recovered. Additionally, law enforcement has taken action against their owner.

According to the Philadelphia Police Department, they have informed TMZ that they have successfully located two out of the three pit bulls that were involved in the attack on Wednesday. However, one of the pit bulls is still unaccounted for. Surprisingly, the two pooches that were found also had injuries on them.

After the incident, a civilian found one of the dogs and returned it to the owner. Upon inspection, authorities noticed a bite wound on its back.

Later that evening, the PPD reported the discovery of another pit with a gunshot wound. This injury was most likely caused by the shots fired by the officer who used his gun to intervene and stop the attack on the man on the ground.

According to reports, the owner of the pit bull who had been shot took the injured dog to a private veterinarian. It has been mentioned that there is a third pit bull that is still missing.

The owner will be facing punishment for these incidents. According to the Philadelphia Police Department, he has been cited for having dangerous dogs on the highway and for not having a rabies vaccination tag.

In the beginning of this saga, there were actually four dogs involved, including a large Cane Corso. This particular dog was also part of the mauling incident and was unfortunately shot and killed on the same day. It is unclear whether this dog belonged to the owner in question.
