Trump to Taylor Swift: Do not be ungrateful

Just hours before Super Bowl LVIII kicked off, Donald Trump had a direct message for Taylor Swift: “Please refrain from endorsing Joe Biden.”

On Sunday, the former president took to social media to indirectly appeal to the pop star. It is anticipated that she will have a significant presence on television during the game, as her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, will be playing.

Trump took credit for Swift’s financial success, asserting that endorsing Biden would be seen as disloyalty towards the person who played a significant role in her monetary gains.

“I personally took action and assumed responsibility for the Music Modernization Act, benefiting not only Taylor Swift but also numerous other talented musicians. Joe Biden, on the other hand, has not made any significant contributions to Taylor Swift’s cause, and it’s unlikely that he ever will,” Trump expressed on Truth Social. His reference was to the legislation he signed back in 2018, which aimed to update and enhance copyright laws within the music industry.”

“There is absolutely no chance that she would support Crooked Joe Biden, who is widely regarded as the most corrupt President in the history of our great nation. It would be a blatant act of disloyalty towards the person who has been instrumental in her financial success. On a personal note, I happen to appreciate her boyfriend, Travis, despite the fact that he might hold more liberal views and possibly doesn’t have the most favorable opinion of me!”

In a recent development, speculations emerged after a report from the New York Times claimed that Biden’s campaign was actively seeking Taylor Swift’s endorsement. This led to a series of conspiracy theories, with one suggesting that the NFL postseason was manipulated to favor the Chiefs, allowing Swift to make the endorsement during a highly-watched game.
