Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) plans to tie the knot with his fiancee, Mindy Noce, in early August, according to a spokesperson for Scott.
The Hill has confirmed that the South Carolina Republican, Senator Tim Scott, will be tying the knot with his fiancรฉe, Noce, in Scott’s home state. The wedding is scheduled to take place after the 2024 Republican National Convention in July and before Election Day in November.
Scott made a heartfelt announcement in January, revealing that he had taken the next step in his relationship by getting engaged to Noce. The proposal took place during a romantic sunset beach walk on Kiawah Island, S.C.
Scott, an introverted individual, expressed his discomfort in having a conversation about his engagement. He acknowledged feeling a bit uneasy but emphasized that this momentous occasion was the most thrilling thing he would experience, second only to accepting Jesus as his Lord.
He expressed his excitement and slight nervousness, emphasizing his gratitude for finding a soul mate who shares his interests, passions, and goals. He mentioned, “I’ve been patient and prayerful throughout this journey.”
Scott also revealed to the Post that he and Noce had started dating approximately a year before the engagement. They met through their church and connected over their shared interest in Bible study.
Speculation about the senator’s love life was rampant before he announced his relationship last year. Many people even questioned whether he could potentially become the first unmarried president in over a century during his recent White House campaign.
