Three individuals, including a man from Canton and two minors, arrested for charges of mob action and aggravated battery

Three individuals were apprehended by Quincy Police on the north side of the city on Tuesday afternoon following the eruption of a physical altercation.

Around 12:30 p.m., the Quincy Police Department and Adams County EMS swiftly responded to reports of an ongoing fight at 200 North 8th. Upon arrival, the officers discovered a 42-year-old victim who had been forcefully pushed over a railing, resulting in a fall of approximately 20 feet. The victim was promptly taken to Blessing Hospital by Adams County EMS to receive treatment for moderate, non-life threatening injuries.

Phillip Orange, a 40-year-old man from Canton, Mo., was found at the scene along with two juvenile suspects. The officers promptly apprehended them.

Orange, along with the two juvenile suspects, was taken into custody and is currently being held at the Adams County Jail and Adams County Detention Center. They are facing charges of Mob Action and Aggravated Battery.
