Texas Lt. Governor Accuses Biden of Being Close to Committing “Treason”

Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick claims that President Biden’s failure to secure the border is approaching the boundary of treason.

“Treason is a hard word … but gosh, you’re coming up to the line when you say that we’re going to let thousands, 24,000, 30,000 Chinese men of military age to come through our border and be somewhere in our country,” -Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick on Fox News (February 23, 2024)

During a Fox News interview on Friday, Patrick made comments that raised concerns about the invasion of our country. He also posed a direct question to the president, asking who in the White House would ever allow such a thing to happen.

Lt. Governor Patrick did not hold back in his criticism of the president. Just last week, he made it clear that he believes “Biden needs to step aside and allow Texas to secure the border.”

Patrick’s criticism of President Biden is part of a growing chorus of complaints voiced by Republican politicians in recent days. One notable critic is Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, who expressed his concerns in a strongly-worded letter to the president. Governor Kemp’s letter was prompted by a distressing incident involving a migrant who illegally crossed the border in El Paso and was subsequently released by federal authorities. Tragically, this individual has now been charged with the murder of a student on the University of Georgia campus.

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who represents the area where the murder occurred in Congress, accused the president, along with Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and the Democrats, of having “blood on their hands.”
