Shia LaBeouf Makes Long-Awaited Red Carpet Comeback after 4-Year Hiatus

Shia LaBeouf has made a comeback and is once again in the limelight.

Shia LaBeouf, 37, made a striking appearance at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in France on May 16. Stepping onto the red carpet for the first time in four years, the actor turned heads with his debonair black tuxedo and newly dyed blond hair. LaBeouf attended the premiere of Francis Ford Coppola’s highly anticipated film, Megalopolis, alongside other renowned stars.

Several of his costars, including Adam Driver, Jon Voight, Giancarlo Esposito, Laurence Fishburne, Aubrey Plaza, Chloe Fineman, and Nathalie Emmanuel, joined the actor at the event. The actor’s last official red carpet appearance was at the 2020 Oscars.

Shia LaBeouf stars as Clodio Pulcher in the dystopian film Megalopolis, marking the return of director Coppola since his last movie Twixt in 2011.

In his most recent onscreen role, LaBeouf starred in the 2022 film “Padre Pio.” He was originally set to appear in Olivia Wilde’s “Don’t Worry Darlings,” released the same year, but ultimately departed from the production. LaBeouf stated that he chose to leave the film, contradicting the director’s claim that he was fired.
