REMEMBERING ROBERTO CAVALLI
Italian fashion designer Roberto Cavalli has passed away, as announced by the company he established in a social media post.
Cavalli’s eponymous company took to Instagram on Friday to announce his passing with deep sorrow. The post also included heartfelt statements from the company’s CEO and creative director.
Roberto Cavalli, the renowned fashion designer, was born in Florence, Italy in 1940. In 1975, he established his own fashion company, Roberto Cavalli, which gained immense popularity with his patented animal print styling. Throughout his career, he has dressed numerous celebrities, showcasing his unique style.
Over the years, many notable celebrities have donned creations by Cavalli. The likes of Kim Kardashian, Beyoncรฉ, Lady Gaga, Bella Hadid, Kali Uchis, Zendaya, Emily Ratajkowski, and many others have all been spotted wearing his designs.
In 2014, after two previous marriages, Cavalli began dating model Sandra Nilsson, who is 45 years younger than him. Last year, Sandra gave birth to their child, making it Cavalli’s sixth child.
Cavalli gained a reputation for his extravagant lifestyle, indulging in luxuries like Ferraris, cigars, and high-end clothing. He even went as far as acquiring a sleek purple helicopter to showcase his unique style.
Roberto, at the age of 83, was a remarkable individual.
