Prince William has recently shared an update regarding his wife, Princess Kate’s cancer diagnosis.
The Prince of Wales caught royal onlookers off guard on Tuesday when he paid a visit to James’ Place Newcastle, a male suicide prevention center. In a video shared on Instagram by the account @WalesVideos and Daily Mail Royals on YouTube, he can be seen engaging in a conversation with a woman about Princess Kate’s well-being.
A woman politely inquired about the well-being of Prince William and his children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. She asked, “Do you mind if I ask how you and your children are?”
The royal responded by saying, “We’re all doing well, thank you.” The woman then inquired about Catherine, asking if she was also doing well.
Prince William reaffirmed that everyone is doing well.
In late March, Princess Kate made a public announcement about her battle with cancer, putting an end to weeks of speculation and conspiracy theories surrounding her health.
In a heartfelt video released by Kensington Palace, Kate expressed her gratitude to everyone who has sent messages of support and shown understanding during her recovery from surgery. She acknowledged that the past few months have been incredibly challenging for her family, but she also highlighted the tremendous care she received from her medical team, for which she is immensely thankful.
“In January, I had a significant abdominal surgery in London. Initially, it was believed that my condition was benign,” she shared. “Fortunately, the surgery was a success. Unfortunately, further tests revealed the presence of cancer.”
Prince William and Princess Kate expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support from the public following the news of her cancer diagnosis. In a statement released by Kensington Palace, they acknowledged the immense outpouring of love and support they have received during this challenging time.
In March, a spokesperson from the palace expressed that both the prince and princess were deeply moved by the heartfelt messages received from people in the U.K., across the Commonwealth, and around the world, in response to Her Royal Highness’ message.
